Abstract
The practical experience of vocational education institutions of Zhytomyr region in organizing the educational process in a distance format using digital technologies and created digital laboratories is presented; the features of the competency-based approach in education, the implementation of the principles of state policy for the development of a digital society, digital transformation in the field of education and science, and the availability of quality educational services for citizens are analyzed. The main routes for organizing work with pedagogical workers of vocational education institutions in this direction are characterized.
